And I hope that you haven't forgotten about me! I know I haven't posted for awhile...but I have been making jewelery like a crazy person. Trying to finish all of those "works in progress", and starting new ones! Tomorrow I am off to beautiful Omaha, Nebraska to attend Silver Bella!! I am so excited to see all of my old Bella friends, and meet the new Bella's... and thrilled to have a table of my goods at Bella Vendor Night! Silver Bella is a little less than three weeks away. Boy, did that sneak up on me. So, today I decided that I needed to buckle down, and work on pricing some of my goodies for vendor night, as well as work on some more packaging for my "charmed" bracelets.
I promised you a look at the goodies we made at Beach Art Camp...
The first day started off with making a paper clay and fabric doll. Because of drying time for the clay, we worked on it of and on for both days. My doll is named Mabel...
She has what I call cinnamon bun hair! I haven't finished her yet, but will post a pic of her when she is done.... There were some really fantastic ones...but unfortunately I only got pictures of a couple.
Here are a couple of finished ones...aren't they adorable? Look at the cute little shoes! Oh, and Lonnie and Joy made Punk'in head girls...so cute!
The rest of the time was spend soldering, and torching! We soldered sterling wire to make chain, and fused fine silver to make chain.
These were fun wine charms...to hang from chain around a bottle...but I think that I am going to make chunky pendants out of mine! That's me...always the rebel!

We also soldered these cute beveled glass houses. I did Halloween on one side...
And Christmas on the other! A double duty decoration!
And last but not least, we were all given a little kit with glass, a tiny metal swirly, two pieces of scrap metal, and the words Oregon Art Camp 2009. Each person was to make their own creation for a competition at the end of the weekend. This was mine...I made it about what the weekend was all about...playing,
Creating and Sharing!

Whenever I return from spending time with other artistic gals, the ideas start swirling around in my head. I spent 4 nights on the Oregon coast, creating, chatting, eating, and spending time with friends, both old and new. My friend and hostess Terri, has only been back for a few days, and she and I are starting to think about the next art retreat! Here's a look at where we stayed...

I took my new camera along with me to the Street Faire, and so I thought that I would show you some pretty vignettes....
I took all of these lovely photos at the booth of "the red door"...they have an antiques and vintage store in Elk Grove, which is just about 30 minutes from Lodi. I will definately have to visit soon!
Yesterday was our local street faire....Several streets are closed off, with several blocks of antiques, several blocks of crafts, and of course lots of "junk" food!
Lockford Sausage is a local company, and they always have a line of 25-30 people waiting...Thye must be good, but I've never had one! Shame on me!
It was a gorgeous day,and our local paper said that there was approx. 40,000 people in attendance. I went in the late morning, and the crowds didn't seem too bad.....
