The Tinsel and Treasure show last weekend was great! This is my table before the show started, and I sold quite a bit of it. I met the most wonderful people, both customers and fellow vendors, and can't wait until next year!
These fabulous mosaic cakes were made by the sweet, and hilarious Michelle Legler, who traveled to Alamo with her friend Regina all the way from Arizona. They are simply amazing, and at some point, I will have one! For now, though, I bought one of her lovely mosaic heart necklaces!
And these are her adorable Halloween mosaic cupcakes!
This beautiful display if from the adorable Lisa Super! I met Lisa at Silver Bella, and I love her fun, colorful style...I bought an adorable stitchery necklace kit from her, and will show it when I finish!
This adorable little tidbit...and I say tidbit, because he is all of about 3 inches tall, is one of the cutest things ever! The artist of this amazing little elephant is Arbutus Hunter. Her spun cotton orni's are so detailed, each has their own personality, and well, they're just so darn adorable!
This is some of the fin and funky mixed media art made by Nancy Bartlucci.
The whimsical art of Donna O'Brien...the Ribboned Crown.
The spectacular art from the Tinsel and Treasures Hostess...Iva Wilcox! Her paper mache Halloween kitties, were so spooktacular!
My friend Colleen Moody, makes the most beautiful, handcrafted dolls, with amazing clothes made from vintage fabrics, laces and notions...
I'm super excited and honored to be a part of Tinsel and Treasures! I've been busy creating one of a kind pieces especially for this show, and I think you're going to love them! Pop on over to the website and check out all of the artists that will be there... the talent in the room will be amazing! Gather up your girlfriends, and make a day of it!
When you were a kid, did you ever get to go to Summer Camp? Remember how fun it was to stay up late, and talk with your friends... put on a skit, or sing by the campfire? Well, I am off to Oregon Art Camp, to meet with friends both old and new, and to share my love of creating! I'll have lots of pics to show and tell, when I return!!
This is the fun, fabric collage bird class that I am teaching! She is a Sweet Little Tweet!
This is a sneak peek of my project for Oregon Art Camp. I'm working on getting my kits together, and since there are lots of little bits in this project, it's taking a little longer than I thought it would. Hopefully everyone will put their own little bits and bobs on to personalize their tweet projects! I think it is just the cutest, and I know the "campers" will too!

Wow! I can't believe that it has been a few weeks since I have posted. Both Christmas and New Year have come and gone. I'm very glad to be leaving 2010 behind! It was a bad year in more ways than you would assume, and I am trying to dig out of the depression that has been the aftermath, and had gotten even worse in the last couple of months. I am truly grateful for the family, and wonderful friends that have been there unconditionally for me. I thank God for the amazing Dr.'s and Nurses at UCSF. Oh yea, and meds!
2011 has many things to look forward to... finishing reconstruction surgery, my Son's wedding at Yosemite in March, and several Art events already lined up! First is Kim's Moulin Rouge In Southern California, then Terri's Art Camp in April and October! Plus, another thing that I am very excited about, and will tell you all about soon!
Won't you join me on this journey? An amazing part of my personal journey, has been, not only being a "camper" at Terri Brush's Oregon Art Camp, but being an instructer as well... I am thrilled to be teaching again at camp this Spring, as well as the Fall camp! Seriously, what could be better than getting together with like minded women for a long weekend of bonding, fun, food, and Art, Art, Art!!!
What a perfect Christmas Gift for yourself, or a friend! But don't wait too long, there are only a few spaces left!! For more info, check out Terri's Blog, and feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions!!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted! The weeks after I returned home from Silver Bella were filled with Dr.'s appointments, Thanksgiving, and then surgery on Nov 29. I'll post more about that on my other blog...but I want to finally post some pics from Omaha!
I still need to take pics of my projects, so for now, I will share with you some pictures of the "fight like a woman" bra swap I hosted...(I didn't get pics of them all, and I am having trouble getting some that were e-mailed to me onto my blog. So I will post them later.)
This one is the one that I received from my jovial friend Colleen! (see pic above!) Of course, as soon as I opened it, I was blubbering like a fool...
And it has one of her beautiful dolls on it!
She used the words from the song Fight like a Girl,
Well, I am back from Silver Bella in Omaha, and had a wonderful time, as always! That was my Big victory...getting through my chemo on schedule, so that I could go. I will post more about SB soon, but I am going to have to "steal" some pics from other Bella's, because I only took a couple with my camera!
The small victory for today, is that my eyelashes are now long enough to wear mascara!! There was a noticable difference in the last 5 days!! Sometimes it's just the small things!!
